Data Deletion

How to remove your data from DMpop, whether you are a customer or someone who received a message sent through it.

1. Disconnect your Instagram account

Sign in at app.dmpop.com, open Settings, and choose Disconnect next to the Instagram account. This deletes the stored connection and its access token immediately and stops every campaign on that account.

2. Remove DMpop's access from inside Instagram

You can also withdraw access on Instagram's side at any time. In the Instagram app, go to Settings and activity, then Apps and websites, find DMpop and remove it. DMpop can no longer read or send anything for that account once you do.

3. Delete your account and workspace

Email hello@dmpop.com from the address you sign in with, with the subject "Delete my DMpop data". Tell us the workspace name and the Instagram username connected to it. We will delete:

  • your account, sign-in records and workspace;
  • connected Instagram accounts and their access tokens;
  • campaigns, tracked links and click records;
  • delivery logs, comment records and stored notifications from Meta.

4. If you received a message sent through DMpop

If you commented on or messaged an Instagram account and got an automatic reply, you can ask us to delete the records that relate to you. Email hello@dmpop.com with your Instagram username and the account you interacted with. To stop further messages straight away, block or restrict that account on Instagram.

5. What happens next

  • We may ask you to confirm that you control the email address or Instagram account, so that nobody else can delete your data.
  • We confirm the request by email and complete the deletion within 30 days.
  • We may keep a minimal record where the law requires it, or where it is needed to prevent fraud and abuse. We will tell you if that applies.
  • Deleting data from DMpop does not delete anything from Instagram itself. Messages already delivered stay in the Instagram conversation.

6. Contact

Email hello@dmpop.com. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 30 days.
